Adrian Peterson’s Two-Year-Old Son Dies From Injuries Sustained During Alleged Beating
Adrian Peterson's two-year-old son has died from the injuries allegedly suffered at the hand of 27-year-old Joseph Patterson.
TMZ reported that the boy was in critical condition and on life support, but has since been taken off the ventilator after showing no brain activity since 5:30 Thursday evening. His mother is reportedly going to donate the boy's organs.
Adrian Peterson traveled to South Dakota earlier this week to be with the child. He has since returned to the Vikings facility and has vowed to play in this weekend's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Joseph Patterson was arrested in the beating of the child, initially being charged with aggravated felony assault and battery of an infant. Those charges will now likely be elevated.
