Basketball Players Share Unlikely Kiss in Heat of Playoff Battle

This isn't what comes to mind when you hear about a player getting in an opponent's face.

During the WNBA Western Conference Finals matchup between the Minnesota Lynx and the Phoenix Mercury, things got a little tense between Phoenix’s Diana Taurasi and Minnesota’s Seimone Augustus.

Taurasi decides to literally kiss and make up when she planted a smooch on Augustus.

It’s not like they’re breaking new ground here. Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas once famously exchanged a peck, too.

Maybe this will revitalize kissing as a trend. After all, Alex Rodriguez has basically been telling all of Major League Baseball to kiss his you-know-what for the last few months.
