Here in Bozeman, we have over ten breweries to enjoy, and everyone has a favorite they prefer to enjoy. Luckily, in most Montana grocery stores, you can find small-town brewery beers to try and appreciate.

This begs the question, Which craft beer is the best in Montana? We might have that answer, but it will be contested.

Before we tell you what the best craft beer in Montana could be, here are nine breweries in Bozeman to enjoy.

Taste of Home made a list of the Best Craft Beer From Every State, and Montana's might be one of the most basic answers.

According to Taste of Home, the best craft beer out of Montana is Big Sky Brewing Company's Moose Drool Brown Ale. They say it's a Montana classic and beloved by many Montanas, but we beg to differ.

Moose Drool is probably Montana's most distributed beer nationwide, but it's not the best craft beer. It all depends on who you ask. Some folks love IPAs, Scotch Ales, or a stout, but I don't think Moose Drool is the best.

When you think about what you see available in bars or restaurants throughout Montana, I believe there are a few contenders.

One that is constantly on beer taps is Kettlehouse Brewing's Cold Smoke. Another beloved favorite is MAP Brewing Company's Midas Crush. You could also choose any beer from Philipsburg Brewing Company.

It all depends on the person. Choosing the best craft beer in Montana is a waste because you can't make the correct decision. Some will agree, some won't.
