Three Of The Best National Park Lodges Are In Montana
Even though it's January, it's never too early to book your spring or summer trips to some of the most iconic national parks in America.
When it comes to national parks, Montana is an embarrassment of riches. We have Yellowstone, the oldest national park, and Glacier, one of the most scenic national parks. Both of these spots are in high demand by tourists every year to see what all the fuss is about, and we can't blame them.
Most people love to camp in these national parks, but if you are like me and like the convenience of having a bed to sleep on or a shower, you can always opt to stay at one of the lodges. Where exactly should you stay if you are heading to Glacier or Yellowstone? We can help you with that.
Travelicious made a list of The 10 Best National Park Lodges, and three are right here in Montana. If you want a fantastic national park experience, here is where you should stay.
The Old Faithful Inn was number one on the list. If you want to be next to one of the most iconic features of Yellowstone National Park, this is the lodge for you. With fantastic rooms, prices that won't break the bank, and access to the most popular spots in Yellowstone, the Old Faithful Inn is perfect.
Number seven on the list is the Lake Yellowstone Hotel and Cabins. Want a place to stay that has a history? The Lake Yellowstone Hotel is the oldest-running lodge inside the park and has been open since 1891. If you want to be near a fantastic lake, this is the lodge for you.
The final lodge on the list that resides in Montana is Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park. If you want views that go on for days, access to hiking trails, and a pristine lake to go kayaking or swimming, Many Glacier should be on your bucket list. This hotel will blow your mind.
Even though many of these lodges won't open till May or June, you will need to book these rooms early due to the high demand. It might seem like overkill, but it's worth every penny.
