Best + Worst Dressed of the Week: Jennifer Lawrence, Drew Barrymore, Katy Perry + More
Several celebs stepped out in high style at the GLAAD Awards, while a few pop singers also hit the right notes in the attire choices. Jennifer Lawrence returned to her adoring public with a new 'do and even better dress, while Katy Perry took her voice role as Smurfette literally with one of the prettiest blue dresses we've ever seen.
Then ... there was Drew Barrymore, whose soldier-on-safari dress resembled a tent. Oops.
The Best:
Jennifer Lawrence
The actress emerged from a post-Oscars red carpet hiatus sporting a shoulder-length shag with tons of layers and a structural and sexy David Koma frock at the GLAAD Awards. We love the dress and its flirty hem. Oh, how we've missed her.
Kirsten Dunst
The actress formerly known for playing Mary Jane in 'Spider-Man' has been notching hit after hit on red carpets lately, like this black Emilio Pucci peek-a-boo dress. That ribbon headband and volume at the crown in her hair are her best accessories.
Selena Gomez
The sexy singer and actress rocked a belted black trench and dominatrix boots to sexy effect in NYC. She looks like she is either on her way to a sexy rendezvous or like she might be a flasher. (Might be time to lose the bindi, though, Sel.)
Katy Perry
The singer voices the role of Smurfette in the new 'Smurfs 2' movie out this summer, and she was beautiful in a blue lace and belted Monique Lhuillier party frock. Check out her tiny waist! We always think of Perry as curvy because of her knockers, but here, she looks positively petite.
Those mirrored Jimmy Choos lent the perfect amount of contrast, and the glasses and the blooms in her hair were decidedly Perry accents.
Christina Aguilera
The diva was a knockout in a black Victoria Beckham gown with a keyhole in the bodice at the Time 100 event. Not only has she dropped some weight, she's now dressing for her figure (instead of in spite of it).
The Worst:
Drew Barrymore
WTF is this camo sack? She's lost the baby weight -- why is she hiding her figure in a tent? Barrymore is a soldier on safari in this get-up. This Dries van Noten two-piece would not even be flattering even as a snow outfit.
Elle Fanning
The teen is so pretty but this blush Lanvin with a black sash with volume at the hips does nothing but add girth to a petite and adorable girl. A questionable choice indeed.
Gwyneth Paltrow
The World's Most Beautiful Woman, as christened by PEOPLE, wore a dress by Antonio Berardi that was anything but fitting her status. Structural and peplum from the front, black hanging fabric at the back and sheer side panels that let us know she went commando -- that's what this dress was about. Ugh.
Matthew McConaughey
The normally hot actor did his best impression of The Joker in this mad-about-plaid suit. We're sorry, what? Did you say something? His suit is too loud to hear you.
