Even though Montana State has a massive game coming up this Saturday, one of their players will have a big honor in February.

406 MT Sports is reporting that Montana State Bobcat senior linebacker Troy Andersen has been invited to the premier Senior Bowl in February, the Reece's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. The Reece's Senior Bowl posted on Twitter that Troy accepted the invitation.

The Reece's Senior Bowl happens the first week of February and is a great honor to be invited and play in. This senior bowl will not only have NFL coaches on the sidelines for both teams but there will be scouts for every NFL team watching practices and the game. The Senior Bowl game can immensely help Troy Andersen's draft stock in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Troy Andersen is up for the Buck Buchanan Award, which is the FCS level's best defensive player and has been named an All-American in several lists. This has to be very exciting for Troy Andersen to be invited to this game. The Reece's Senior Bowl vary rarely invites players from lower levels, and we can't even remember when the last time a Montana State Bobcat was invited. That shows how highly respected Troy Andersen is but is regarded as one the best senior prospects at any level.

Troy Andersen and Montana State have a big game on Saturday when they face off against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits at noon on national television in the FCS Semifinals. If they win, they go to the National Championship Game and will only help Troy Andersen's draft stock.
