It’s Official, Bozeman’s Bar-Muda Triangle Is Dead
This area of Bozeman will never be the same, but at least we have some great memories.
If you are new to the Bozeman area, you might not know that there used to be a place called The Bar-Muda Triangle. This area consisted of three bars where people would enjoy playing pool, competing in trivia, and enjoying the occasional adult beverage.
The Bar-Muda Triangle consisted of The Molly Brown Bar, The Haufbrau, and the Scoop Bar. Sadly, the Scoop Bar closed in 2021, and people were heartbroken.
The Bar-Muda Triangle was where each bar had its vibe and atmosphere. It was incredible. Luckily, The Molly Brown and The Haufbrau are still open, but what's happening with the old Scoop Bar spot? We now have that answer.
710 Montana, a recreational and medicinal marijuana dispensary, will open in the old Scoop Bar. 710 Montana has several locations throughout the state, including a spot in Four Corners.
More dispensaries have been setting up shops closer to downtown Bozeman, and this location is genius. 710 Montana's new store will be near two bars filled with locals every day. That's an instant customer base. Plus, the constant traffic from Main Street will help.
Even though we are thrilled to see something finally go into that space, we can't help but be saddened The Bar-Muda Triangle will never happen again.
If you were lucky enough to enjoy The Bar-Muda Triangle back in its prime, you were one of the fortunate ones. Thank goodness we still have The Molly Brown and The Haufbrau to enjoy. If one of those bars shuts down, locals will be infuriated.
Let's hope that never happens.
