If you have bought this cereal recently, you might want to toss it out.

The CDC is reporting a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to the Kellogg's Honey Smacks Cereal.

On June 14, Kellogg's recalled 15.3 oz. and 23 oz. packages of Honey Smacks cereal.

The cereal has a "best if used by" date from June 14, 2018 through June 14, 2019.

The CDC is recommending that even if you have eaten some of the cereal, and haven't gotten sick, to either toss the rest of the cereal in the garbage or return it for a refund.

The outbreak has spread to 31 states, with one reported case in Montana.
