Former Montana State Football Player Heading to the Super Bowl
Mike Person was born in Glendive, MT and played football for 4 years at Montana State University.
In 4 seasons at Montana State, Person started all 42 games along the offensive line. He earned First-Team All-Big Sky Conference honors in 2010, starting all 12 games and helping lead Montana State to a Big Sky Conference Championship.
Now, Person is headed Super Bowl LIV with the San Francisco 49ers. They will face the Kansas City Chiefs on February 2 in Miami, Florida.
Person plays right guard on the offensive line for the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers punched their ticket to the Super Bowl after defeating the Green Bay Packers 37-20 in the NFC Championship game.
Originally, Person was drafted in round 7 by San Francisco in 2011. Since then, he has been on rosters for the Colts, Chiefs, Falcons, Rams and Seahawks. Person returned to San Francisco in 2018, starting all 16 games for the first time in his career and was rewarded a three-year contract extension through 2021.
