According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Gallatin High School received the most amount of support in a poll consisting of five possible names for the new Bozeman high school.

District students, staff and members of the community all weighed in on the topic after school board members opened the process back up on March 4 after the original choice, Westslope, received public criticism.

The Chronicle reports that in the online community poll, Gallatin received a hefty 43 percent of the vote, with Spanish Peaks gaining 19 percent, West coming in with 17 percent, Storm Castle tallying 14 percent and finally Westslope attracting 8 percent.

The school board is expected to take the results into consideration before making a final decision on the name at Monday's meeting.
