If you see lots of folks walking together on Friday through downtown Bozeman, they're coming together to strike, march, and rally against Climate Change.

Sunrise Movement Gallatin County and the Montana Sierra Club are inviting people to meet at Cooper Park at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. At 1:30 p.m.they will march down Main Street to Bogert Park where there will be inspirational speakers, music, dancing and fun.

School strikes across the country are also planned for tomorrow, where young people are planning to walk out of their classrooms to protest Climate Change. According to Bozeman High School, they are supporting any student's wishes to participate, however, unless cleared by a parent, students will be marked absent if they miss class.

The purpose of the strikes and marches is to demand an end to the age of fossil fuels and emergency action to avoid climate breakdown.
