Harry Styles is pulling "double duty" on Saturday Night Live next month, where he'll be both the host and musical guest. The former One Direction star announced the news on Twitter Thursday (October 24), revealing that fans can catch him on the sketch comedy show November 16.

The pop star isn't the only artist to take on both roles this season. On Saturday (October 26), Chance The Rapper will be both host and musical guest on SNL. Ariana Grande, Drake, and Britney Spears have all taken on double duty as well.

It's safe to assume Styles will perform his new single "Lights Up" during his SNL set next month, but what will he choose for his second song? Perhaps he's planning on dropping another new track before November 16? We can only hope!

The 25-year-old is prepping his second solo album after releasing his self-titled debut in 2017. Though we don't know much about the new project as of yet, Styles did recently admit it's "all about having sex and feeling sad" and tripping on mushrooms helped him with the creative process.

Tune in to Styles' SNL episode on November 16.
