High School Girls Take No Tan For Prom Pledge

I LOVE THIS!  I admit, I too tanned before prom's and formals in high school - and before major events in my early adult life.  This is something however that I have tried to cut down dramatically on, due to my increasing knowledge of skin cancer. Well it turns out, high school students are also learning the risks! 209 high school students at Maynard High School is Massachusetts took a no tan for prom pledge!  How great is that!

The American Melanoma Foundation said melanoma is the second most common cancer among 15- to 29-year-olds, and blames the increased use of tanning beds for the rise in the deadly disease.
