It’s Official, Hastings Will Close

Well, this went from Hastings to possibly staying open to now officially closing down.

So here is the deal: Hastings Entertainment filed for bankruptcy and they were hoping they would be purchased by a bigger company to stay open. The great thing is they did get bought out. The only problem is that now they will see over a total liquidation of assets of all stores followed by them closing down.

This is such a huge bummer. I used to work at Hastings and made some great friendships there. Plus, I would regularly go there to rent movies, purchase gifts for friends and families. I am extremely sad that they will be closing down. Then again, I am excited for the crazy savings I will be making with their insane sales.
