Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - The ‘No Labels' Party has qualified for the Montana ballot for the upcoming local, state and federal election, but so far, there are no takers in Montana.

According to Wikipedia, ‘No Labels’ is an American political organization whose stated mission is to support centrism and bipartisanship through what it calls the "commonsense majority. No Labels was founded in 2010 as a 501(c)(4) by current president and CEO Nancy Jacobson, identified as ‘an American political activist. Jacobsen was a former fundraiser for the Democratic Party, then she founded the ‘No Labels’ Party. In 2007, Jacobson was named one of the 50 Most Powerful People in D.C. by GQ Magazine. She has also been referred to as "one of the most powerful women in Washington."

The Montana Secretary of State's Office Allows the 'No Labels Party' on the Ballot

KGVO News has reached out to the Montana Secretary of State’s Office to determine if there are any Montana candidates who identify as members of the ‘No Labels' party.

Here in Montana, the Secretary of State (Christi Jacobsen) has verified sufficient signatures to certify the No Labels Montana Party as a minor party eligible for the 2024 Election. Candidates may now file to run for office under the No Labels Montana Party. The Secretary of State’s Office has updated the online candidate filing form and candidate filing may also be completed in person at the Secretary of State’s Office.

KGVO reached out to Montana Secretary of State Jacobsen’s office and her Communications Director Richie Melby provided a link to the 2024 Secretary of State Candidates.

So far, there are no Montana candidates affiliated with the ‘No Labels’ party.
