Today is a tough day. Not only do we remember the 9/11 attacks that took place 24 years ago, but also for many, we're reeling over the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Kirk was shot and killed at Utah Valley University yesterday, almost 20 minutes into his scheduled appearance. Kirk, a major influence on the conservative movement, especially among young people, was 31 and left behind a wife and two young children. As of this writing, the shooter is still at large.
