Popular Montana Spot Lands In The Top 5 Most Beautiful Places

Montana is known for its beauty, and so it's never a shock when we're mentioned in some list talking about the most beautiful places, however, what is often a shock is the ranking we receive.

Two of Montana's most popular spots are Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Both are breathtaking, however, in my opinion, the vote for most beautiful goes to one over the other. While some might disagree with me, one publication didn't.

The folks over at MoneyPPL decided to put together a list of the 35 Most Beautiful Places in America and one popular Montana location made the Top 5 list.

As mentioned, several locations across Montana are worthy of making the 35 Most Beautiful Places in America List, however, only one Montana location made it, and before we reveal which location that is, we want to look at 5 of the best Montana road trip destinations.

Which Montana location made the list?

Coming in at number 5 on the list is Glacier National Park. Glacier is my favorite spot in the state and the only thing that upsets me about this is it should be ranked higher. Especially when you consider the locations that were ranked above it.

The Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado was 4th, Hamilton Pool in Texas was 3rd, and 2nd place went to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in North Carolina. So which spot made the list as the most beautiful place in America?

That honor went to the town of Harpers Ferry in West Virginia.

I'm not knocking any of the locations, but are they more beautiful than Glacier National Park? No. But, maybe I'm a little biased.
