If you live in or around Bozeman, you know that it's a popular place for tourists.

With "tourist season" just around the corner, folks will be coming to Bozeman and Montana to take in all that Big Sky Country has to offer. While not all of us love the whole tourist scene, the truth is, they spend lots of money, and that is good for business.

Bozeman has become one of those places that the affluent like to visit and spend time in or around. Places like Big Sky and The Yellowstone Club, as well as some private resorts in Paradise Valley, cater to those who have money, and those people want to have the whole "Montana Experience".

What is the Montana Experience?

Well, that's a great question. I suppose it depends on who you are, or who you are? Many of these folks have watched Yellowstone or some fancy HGTV or Travel Channel show and feel like if you're going to visit Montana, you'll need fancy boots, a cowboy hat, and something made from fur.

While locals tend to laugh at these situations, those outside of Montana can now laugh with us. You see, there's a popular Instagram page that highlights these folks, and it's called Bozeman Airport Cowboys.

The site has almost 18 thousand followers and features folks who are at the Bozeman/ Yellowstone International Airport and appear to be departing after their time here in Montana.

I'm glad they wait until they get here to make all of those purchases.

Here in Bozeman, we have several shops that cater to such clients. On Main Street alone, I can think of a handful of stores where you can easily spend thousands of dollars on all of your "western" accessories that, instead of making you fit in, will make you stand out like a sore thumb.
