2025 has been a great year for music lovers in Montana, and we still have a few months to go before the end of the year. This year has been stacked with unforgettable shows. Here are a few of the best so far.

Every show has had its own kind of magic, which is why it’s nearly impossible to crown a single “best concert.” Some were epic sing-along nights, others felt intimate and soul-shaking. One thing’s for certain, Montana knows how to throw a live music party, and 2025 has already proved it in a big way.

I spend much of my annual vacation time going to concerts. I'm a huge Billy Strings fan, so the show in Bozeman at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse is among the best concerts I've been to this year. Other than the sweltering heat inside of the venue, the concert was incredible. If you went to the show, you know what I'm talking about.

Montana doesn't have a huge population, so we're lucky to get so many amazing shows each year. It's most likely the world-class music venues that we have to choose from.

From Missoula to Billings, and everywhere in between, what’s certain is that 2025 has proven Montana isn’t just a stop on the way to bigger cities, it’s a destination in its own right.

The best concert in Montana this year was probably the one you were at. The one where you lost your voice, danced with strangers, or felt a lyric hit a little too close to home. Luckily, there are plenty more nights ahead to add to the list this year.
