Bozeman Plans Huge 4th of July Fireworks Celebration in 2026
Bozeman residents looking to celebrate Independence Day with a spectacular fireworks show are invited to attend the city's annual 4th of July fireworks show at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
This year, 4th of July celebrations across the country will carry extra significance as Americans celebrate our nation's 250th birthday.
The Bozeman Fire Department has released information about the upcoming fireworks show on July 4, 2026. Spectators are invited to join the celebration of our nation's 250th birthday at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. The fireworks show will begin at 10:00 p.m.

Purchasing and discharging fireworks is prohibited in the city of Bozeman, according to Ordinance No. 2134. Handheld sparklers are the only fireworks allowed to be sold or set off in Bozeman.
If you are caught selling or lighting fireworks, your fireworks will be taken away and you will be charged with a misdemeanor. If you are convicted, you will have to pay a $500 fine.
Fireworks can still be purchased in the surrounding areas, but need to be set off outside of Bozeman city limits. However, residents need to be aware of fire danger and dry conditions.
Officials are encouraging residents to leave the large fireworks shows to the professionals this year. The fireworks show at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds provides a safe and family-friendly way for residents and visitors to enjoy fireworks while celebrating the holiday.
