Bozeman’s Food Scene Expands With 7 New Restaurants in 2026

Bozeman is considered one of Montana's best food cities, and several new restaurants are expected to open in 2026.

If you're in Bozeman, there are plenty of great restaurants to check out. Whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there are a variety of quality options. Here are a few new restaurants that are already open or scheduled to open this summer.

According to Bozeman Real Estate Group, seven new restaurants are expected to open in Bozeman this year, and two of them are already serving customers.

1. Wingstop opened its doors in late April. It's located at 1450 Twin Lakes Avenue near Gallatin High School.
2. Khanom Thai is opening a second location this summer. It will be located in the old S. 9th Bistro building at 721 S. 9th Avenue in Bozeman.
3. Bozeman will welcome a couple of new Indian restaurants this summer. Baddshah Cuisine of India (location to be announced) and Saffron Indian Cuisine (in the old Nova Cafe building).
4. PreShift Cafe & Pizzeria (formerly Tarantino's) - PreShift is a great place for burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, pizza, and more. It recently opened at 315 E. Main Street in Bozeman.
5. Proud Rooster BBQ - If you're craving barbecue, Proud Rooster is opening near Four Corners. The restaurant will serve grab-and-go barbecue and is expected to open this summer near the intersection of Baxter Lane and Jackrabbit Lane.
6. Provecho - The popular food truck will open a pop-up style restaurant inside the Bozeman Hotel this summer. The menu will be Mexican-inspired. An opening date has not been announced.

As a foodie, I'm really excited about all of the new restaurants opening in Bozeman this summer and can't wait to check them out.
