This Asian Food Joint Might Be The Best in Montana
Sometimes, the best restaurants you discover are a random spot next to the freeway in Montana.
My parents are creatures of habit when it comes to restaurants. They love certain restaurants in their area or when they visit my sister in Missoula or me in Bozeman.
There's nothing wrong with that, but getting them to try something new can be difficult, but they have solid recommendations occasionally.
Last week, I had a family emergency, and my father and I were driving back and forth from Polson to Kalispell. One evening, my dad pulled off to the side of the road so we could grab dinner on our way home.
My dad pulled up to this little trailer in Bigfork and told me about how this joint has the best Asian food. I didn't believe him, and then I tried the food.
That food joint is Isling Chow.
First, the name is incredible(Isling is the owner's last name). Second, the food is delicious. The appetizers, entrees, sandwiches, and desserts hit every taste bud and helped bring me some normalcy after a hard day.
Run by a married couple, Isaac and Nora, Isling Chow offers a little bit of everything. There are Indian, Chinese, and Korean dishes that will pique your interest.

Some folks might feel deterred from avoiding Isling Chow because they are located right off a highway in Bigfork, but you would be missing out on one of the most underrated food gems Montana has to offer.

Trust me, you won't regret stopping off the highway to enjoy this restaurant. You will wish it was closer so you could enjoy it regularly.
