Montana might not have all the city amenities like professional sports teams, beaches, or amusement parks. Montana makes up for that with outdoor excitement and stunning natural beauty.

So Montana should rank probably high for one of the most beautiful states in America, right? You would think.

According to one website, Montana doesn't even rank in the Top 10 for Most Beautiful States in America.

Before we reveal where Montana landed on the Most Beautiful States in America, here are Five Lakes Worth the Drive you should check out this summer.

On Thrillist's list of the Most Beautiful states of America, Montana landed just outside the list at #11.

Montana was ahead of North Carolina but behind Wyoming at #10.

What states finished ahead of Montana? Washington, Hawaii, California, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, California, Colorado, and Michigan. Michigan? There's no way that the mitten of a state is more beautiful than Montana.

Some of these states are beautiful, and many Montanans are tired of all the love our state gets on these lists, but we feel this is disrespectful. Montana should be at least in the Top 10 for the most beautiful states in America, and there's no debate.

Who thinks Wyoming is more beautiful than Montana? That place has three fun places to visit. We need a new list immediately.
