2024 Will Be An Exciting Time At This Montana Airport

Montana's largest airports have seen massive increases in passengers, and this has caused new airlines and routes to be added for tourists and Montanans. There are pros and cons to these moves. One, cheaper flights for Montanans, but that means more tourists coming into the state.

Well, we have some news that will probably excite you for the 2024 summer.

The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport announced the popular airline Southwest will add a new nonstop route next summer to Nashville, Tennesee. This flight will start on June 8th, 2024, and run all summer. The only downside is this flight is only on Saturdays.

This will be Southwest's third summer seasonal flight. They also have nonstop flights to Dallas and Chicago's Midway Airport during the 2024 summer.

Southwest has become extremely popular with locals due to low fares and exciting destinations. They fly daily to Denver and Las Vegas, which can connect their flights to destinations all over America.

Nashville is a beloved destination for many Montanans. Nashville is the spot for country music, girl trips, and good times.

The only other airline that offers direct flights to Nashville is Allegiant Air, and many folks are hesitant to book flights with them. Allegiant has a history of delaying flights or canceling. This happened to me when I was in Nashville, and they canceled the flight at 1 AM the day of.

If the Nashville flight from Southwest becomes popular during the 2024 summer, I don't see why Southwest wouldn't want to expand it year-round and add more flights during the week.
