Jennifer Aniston Joins Instagram, Shares Epic ‘Friends’ Reunion Selfie
Jennifer Aniston has officially joined Instagram — and to celebrate, she shared a selfie with all her famous Friends.
The actress surprised fans by unveiling her new account on Tuesday morning (October 15) and posting what can only be described as the best — and most iconic — first photo of all time. In it, she's all smiles as she poses with co-stars Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry.
"And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM," she captioned the shot.
As of right now, she only follows 82 people, which includes her former Friends castmates, Reese Witherspoon, Selena Gomez, Ellen DeGeneres, Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry, Eva Mendes, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah, Julia Roberts, as well as her ex-husband, Justin Theroux, from whom she separated from in late 2017 after two years of marriage. The pair have since remained good friends following their breakup.
As for Aniston's bio, it's sweet and simple: "My friends call me Jen."
Just last week, she was asked if she would ever join Instagram while promoting her upcoming Morning Show Apple TV series. Aniston told Entertainment Tonight, "What you resist, persists. It's something that is a part of our world now and it's not going away."
Clearly, she buckled under pressure and we're so glad she did! Plus, considering her first Instagram post will become instantly iconic, we can only imagine what else she has in store for us. If she's anything like Cox, who made her debut on the social media platform earlier this year, our feeds will be filled content we've been missing from our lives.
