Jennifer Love Hewitt Welcomes a Baby Girl

Congratulations to Jennifer Love Hewitt -- she welcomed her first child today, Nov. 26.

Hewitt and her husband, Brian Hallisay, "are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter Autumn James Hallisay," Hewitt's rep told PEOPLE.

Hewitt, 34, and Hallisay, 35, first met in 2010 on the set of the short-lived 'Love Bites,' and then reconnected while working on Lifetime's 'The Client List.'  2013 was certainly a whirlwind year for the actors, who got engaged on vacation in May -- and, according to an Us Weekly source -- "married recently in private."

Busy or not, Hewitt is thrilled to become a mom, especially after losing her own mother to cancer.

“I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I had a great relationship with mine," she told PEOPLE earlier this year. "I’m ready to pass on to my child all the great love that my mom had for me.”

And now, she can do just that. Congratulations to the happy family!
