Local Filmmaker Steve Drake has always enjoyed creating fun and edgy content. Hocked is no exception. Steve had no problem creating an original narrative inspired by true stories from the hock shop.
When it was heard that the film's desired shooting location would be shutting down for good in only 3 months time, Steve Drake and Company took it as a challenge to kick the old screenplay into gear and shoot their first feature film.
The volunteer cast and crew was assembled, storyboards drawn up, fingers crossed, and we all jumped into the deep end.
Frigid Montana shooting conditions, shoestring budgets, hard drive crashes, and an increasingly tightening shooting window were just a few of the hurdles encountered during the primary shooting schedule.
