Montanans are known to be helpful to anyone in need. Whether it's helping recent flood victims, donating food, or changing a tire on the side of road, we are always willing to lend a hand.

Pro Bowl offensive lineman for the Tennessee Titans, Taylor Lewan, was recently traveling through Montana in his RV and had some trouble. Mr. Lewan was traveling through Bozeman on his way to Billings when his fuel pump went out. He went to Twitter to ask for help.

Lewan's statement that Montana may be the heart and soul of the country is something I'd have to agree with. Montanans are and will always be the most kind-hearted folks I've ever encountered.

I grew up in Polson, and when I lived in Idaho, no one understood why I would stop on the side of the road to help a car having trouble or someone who needed directions. It's the Montana thing to do. I remember when I crashed my car over five years ago, I was sitting on the side of the road, not knowing what to do, when three different cars of locals pulled over to check on me and make sure I was ok and asked if I needed any help. That's what Montana is always about. We help each other out.

Taylor Lewan, we hope the rest of your travels are smooth back to Tennessee, and we wish you the best of luck this season. You are welcome here anytime.
