Montana Has More Pride Than Any Other State

According to a recent survey done by USA TODAY, Montana and Alaska have more pride than any other state in the country. In the survey, they asked people in all 50 states to find out what percentage of residents say their state was the very best or one of the best places to live.

Montana and Alaska actually tied. In both states, 77% of the people surveyed thought that they lived in one of the best states and were proud to call it home. The state that came in last was Illinois, with only 19% of the people proud to live where they do.

I have loved every minute of living in Montana since I've been here, and have met quite a few people that are definitely proud to be from Montana. It's no surprise that Montana tops this list.
