The Marion Fire Department, which was pre-staged at the event for safety support, immediately responded to the incident. According to officials, one of the skydivers successfully deployed their parachute and landed without injury. The second jumper's reserve chute deployed automatically thanks to an Automatic Activation Device (AAD), a safety mechanism designed for emergencies.
