Montana Teacher Publishes Uplifting New Children’s Book
A teacher from Missoula, Montana just published her first children's book, "A Place to Call Home."
Lisa Lang is an early Kindergarten teacher and author that lives in Missoula, Montana. Recently, Lang published her first children's book, titled A Place to Call Home, a story about finding a new home.
The book is a true story about a dog named Murphy who waited for over a month at the Humane Society of Western Montana before eventually getting adopted by Lang and her family.
A heartwarming story of a beagle named Murphy looking for a new home. With all the trouble he causes, will he be able to keep his new home once he finds one? Based on the true story of Muphy who waited at the humane society for someone to bring him home.
Lisa Lang lives with her family in Missoula and uses the outdoors as a resource to teach young children through nature, exploration, and other real-life events. Many of those themes can be found in A Place to Call Home.
A Place to Call Home was illustrated by Diana Bezukh from Kyiv, Ukraine who transformed the initial illustrations with her impressive skills which truly capture more words than are printed on the page.
