The mountain biking trails at Big Sky are expected to open on June 18 and will include the only lift-serviced trails in southwest Montana.

Mountain bikers will be able to ride up Ramcharger 8, Swift Current 6, and Explorer 2 to access a variety of trails. The trail system offers something for everyone, whether you're a beginner or a pro. Bike carriers have been added to Swift Current 6,  America's fastest 6-person chairlift.

If you want to hit up the trails at Big Sky this summer, you'll need a pass or a Bike Haul ticket. A Bike Haul ticket is $49 per day and gives you access to Ramcharger 8, Swift Current 6 and Explorer between 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on the day of your reservation.

You can also buy a Weekday Pass or an Unlimited Pass. Passes or tickets are required for chairlift access to haul mountain bikes. For information about Bike Haul passes, click here.

If you don't have a mountain bike, no worries. They are available for rent. If you're new to mountain biking, you can learn the ropes with the guidance of an experienced coach.
