MSU Football Ranked High in Unofficial Preseason Polls

The Montana State Bobcat football program is entering the 2019 season with some high hopes after its great 2018 campaign.

Last year, they finished 8-5 and went to their first playoff game since 2014, and their first playoff win since 2012.

That's why Athlon Sports and Hero Sports have both placed the MSU Bobcats in their top 15 in their Top 25 FCS polls.

Hero Sports has MSU ranked #14, but Athlon Sports thinks highly of the Bobcats and has them all the way up to #8 in their rankings. Despite the fact that these are unofficial polls, it is still encouraging news for Bobcat football fans.

It won't be an easy road for the Bobcats this season though. Several Big Sky conference opponents are also ranked high, including Eastern Washington and UC Davis, among others.
