MSU Receives Huge Grant To Develop New Testing for COVID-19

That's a lot off money and we all know that it will be put to good us.

Montana State University announced that they have received a grant from the state off Montana to come up with a new faster and less costly method for COVID-19. The grant that Montana State received is $776,000 dollars.

There will be twelve faculty members that will be working on this project will be looking at the nasal swab testing and looking to saliva testing as well. This will probably be a lengthy process for researching this new tests but Montana State is the perfect place for this grant. They have been working hard on the COVID-19 front for a while and they even have their own testing sight for students and faculty.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been ruthless this year and testing has been one of the biggest issues. From false positive tests to the very uncomfortable tests those nasal swabs feel like your brain is getting poked) we need a new, easier and faster way for COVID-19 testing. One off the problems is that after you got the test you had to wait several days to find out if you had COVID-19 and then you would have to quarantine. If we could identify someone who has COVID-19 faster, that would make life so much easier. Especially cause there is no end in sight off it stopping anytime soon, this would be a great thing to have for the future.
