According to Montana State University, the women's basketball series against the University of Idaho has been canceled due to COVID-19 issues in the Vandals program, both schools announced on Thursday.

The teams were scheduled to play on Thursday and Saturday, and the games will not be rescheduled. The Montana State Women's basketball team is scheduled to finish the regular season next week at Sacramento State with games scheduled on Wednesday, March 3 and Friday, March 5. The team will also play in the Big Sky Tournament which begins on March 8 in Boise, Idaho.

The Montana State Women's basketball currently 14-6 overall, and 11-3 in Big Sky Conference play. The Bobcats are currently 3rd in the Big Sky Conference. In their most recent game against the Idaho State Bengals, the Bobcats pulled out a stunning overtime win, and defeated the Bengals 88-80.
