New Luxury Resort in Montana Sets Official Opening Date

A highly anticipated ultra-luxury hotel in Big Sky, Montana has announced an officially opening date, and has already begun accepting reservations. The hotel will offer access to a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, horseback riding, and more.

New Luxury Hotel Announces Official Opening Date in Montana

Back in January, we published an article about an high-end luxury hotel brand planning to open it's first U.S. location in Big Sky. Now, the hotel has announced an opening date.

According to the Points Guy, the One & Only Resort in Moonlight Basin will open its doors this fall. It is one of the most highly-anticipated hotel openings in the country, and will be the first One & Only hotel in America.

The hotel will feature 73 guest rooms and suites in the main lodge, along with 19 guest cabins. Rooms are large, ranging from more than 700 square feet to more than 3,400 square feet, and feature balconies with vast mountain views, cozy fireplaces, oak-lined walls and deep soaking tubs in front of large windows.

One & Only operates luxury hotels around the world, and the company is excited to open its first U.S. location in Montana. The official opening date for One & Only Moonlight Basin is November 18, 2025.

If you want to book a stay at the hotel, you better start saving. Rooms start at around $2,000 per night.
