Man Drowns While Working on Montana Political Ad

According to the Associated Press, a producer from Massachusetts drowned earlier this week in Canyon Ferry Lake while scuba diving during a video shoot for possible U.S. Senate candidate John Mues.

40-year-old Jesse Hubbell was in the water on Monday when the incident occurred.

Search crews spent days looking for Hubbell before finding his body on Wednesday.

Authorities say the drowning was an accident, but are still trying to determine the exact cause.

Difficulties with equipment, hypothermia or diving experience are all possibilities and toxicology reports are still being processed.

The AP reports that both Mues and Hubbell had been in the water for approximately 10 minutes when the incident took place and that both were wearing wetsuits.
