Road to Hyalite Reservoir Opens to Vehicles This Week

The road to Hyalite Reservoir will open to cars beginning May 16.

The road to Hyalite has been closed to automobiles since April 1 to allow the snow to melt and give the road time to thaw.

As one of the most popular recreation destinations in Montana, Hyalite receives heavy traffic and the asphalt road is unable to support motorized use during spring thaw.
