Seattle Mariners Assign Montana Kid to AA Team
The road to Major League Baseball can be a tough journey, especially for a Montana kid, but we might be able to see one sooner than we think.
The Seattle Mariners just assigned former Flathead High School (Kalispell) graduate Joe Pistorese to their Double A minor league team the Arkansas Travelers.
This team is just two levels down from the major leagues and Joe has a great chance to be in the big leagues in the next few years.
Right now, Joe is projected to be a late innings relief pitcher thanks to his above average strikeout rate.
