As of right now, Montana only has one Chick-fil-A location in the entire state. It's located in Kalispell. If you live in Bozeman, that's a pretty long drive to pick up one of Chick-fil-A's popular chicken sandwiches.

According to NBC Montana,

Chick-fil-A has filed for a permit for a location in Missoula, according to the Missoula Public Information & Communications Director Ginny Merriam.

As someone that loves a good quality fried chicken sandwich, another Chick-fil-A location is pretty exciting. Information about an opening date for Missoula's Chick-fil-A location hasn't been released, but hopefully, it opens sooner than later.

We reached out to the City of Bozeman to find out whether a similar permit had been filed in Bozeman. Sadly, there isn't a location planned right now, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. They told us to keep checking back because new permits for businesses in the Bozeman area are filed on an almost daily basis.

If Chick-fi-A is planning to add more locations in Montana, it's safe to assume that Bozeman is on their radar. Billings would also be a prime location for Chick-fil-A as it's the most populated city in the state.

The good news is that once the Chick-fil-A location opens in Missoula, Bozemanites won't have to travel as far for one of their famous fried chicken sandwiches. Missoula isn't nearly as far as Kalispell.

As far as a location in Bozeman goes, we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed, and hope that the wait is almost over.
