This Is My #1 Winter Complaint About Montana
I love Montana, I really do, but there are some things that happen in this state that I truly don't understand, it's really just one thing in particular.
We all know the road clearing is frustrating, the lack of paint on the roads/highways can feel almost obsolete, and well I don't think I need to bring up the lack of ability to park. All of these things are brought up weekly if not daily.
There is just one thing that I really can't wrap my head around, so please help me out.
I live in an apartment, the company I rent from is actually ranked as the favorite in town, they really are wonderful. When the snow started falling, it was nice to have the sidewalks always cleared and the parking lot has always been clean from drifts for the most part.
So what is my issue? At all different hours of the early morning, usually between 2-3am sometimes earlier sometimes later, the wonderful snow plow people come. As many of you know, I get up around 5am. This means, when shovels and ATVs are outside my window clearing snow, I get zero sleep.
Is this totally normal to come at these hours? I have past experience with early morning plowing, but it was usually around 5am when they start. Not in the early morning hours like this.
Don't get me wrong, like I said, I am extremely grateful for the prompt service, but can we just start it at 5am? I really do need my sleep.
