Six months after a shoddy hand-cam version of the first Suicide Squad trailer leaked online — courtesy of an overzealous Comic Con attendee — Warner Brothers finally released a longer, more satisfying trailer of the highly-anticipated movie.

The clip doesn’t do much to further detail the story’s plot, the gist of which is: A group of imprisoned super villains must carry out a top-secret black ops mission in exchange for clemency from the government, a deal heralded by high-ranking government official Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis. But the trailer does offer a glimpse of striking visuals and intense fight sequences.

Set to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” -- a fitting song for a movie that's set out to echo the track's crazy intense stimulation -- the trailer sees its core cast of villains  thrust together, with Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto getting the most amount of screen time.

Aside from Davis, the movie stars Smith as Deadshot, Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Jai Courtney as Boomerang, among others. Ben Affleck is also set to appear in the film as Batman, a role he'll portray in at least four upcoming movies about the superhero.

Suicide Squad, written and directed by David Ayer, is set for an August 5 release date, which is a mere eight months away. Check out the trailer above in the meantime.
