Every year the Montana Library Association recognizes librarians throughout the state that have made significant contributions to libraries and the service they provide.

Montana was presented with an award for being the first state to create a REAL ID standalone website.

I had no idea that Big Sky Resort gifted a season pass to all Big Sky K-8 students. They have also announced eight recipients of their Boyne Excellence In Education Award. Those teachers will also receive a season pass for this coming year.

The stars were shining at last night's American Music Awards seen on ABC-TV from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Justin Bieber collected awards for favorite Breakthrough Artist, Artist of the Year, Pop/Rock Male Artist, and Pop/Rock Album.
