Deadpool demolished box office records, quickly becoming the biggest X-Men franchise film of all time and the highest-grossing R-rated film. It certainly wasn’t the first successful R-rated action comedy, but in terms of superhero films, Deadpool made a pretty major splash — which has fans wondering if we’ll see more comic book adaptations take the restricted rating route. While Warner Bros. appears to be open to the possibilities, there’s one studio that definitely won’t be taking a similar tack anytime soon…or ever.

According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, Star Wars will continue on after Episode IX, and the studio has no plans to end that other major franchise anytime soon, either.

It’s Tom Holland, the 19-year-old British actor best known as one of the stars of The Impossible. The studios also announced they’ve chosen a director to make the next Spider-Man movie, and it’s a surprising choice: Jon Watts, the director of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival selection Cop Car.

The loser would have to visit a local charity dressed as their superhero. The Patriots beat the Seahawks in dramatic fashion, so Pratt, in full Star-Lord costume, lived up to his end of the bargain and visited Christopher's Haven, a home for kids and their families battling cancer in Boston.
Spider-Man Would Be Recast if Marvel Regained Control of the Character
A couple of days ago some e-mails pertaining to the future of the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise were revealed from the massive Sony hack. Those e-mails confirmed that Sony had indeed been discussing a potential Spider-Man crossover into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the character making his debut in ‘Captain America: Civil War.’ Although the e-mails indicated that those talks between Sony and Marvel fell through, a new report has shed some light on what Marvel Studios would do with the character if they ever get him back.
