Kevin Smith will return to the DC TV-verse a third time for Supergirl’s 2017 premiere, and he’s brought Harley Quinn with him. Not that Harley Quinn, mind you, but his daughter, who forms the centerpiece of a new synopsis for our “Supergirl Lives” midseason premiere.

Charmed is one of those past properties always swirling new rumors of a possible reboot, but at long last, The CW may have conjured something real. The Halliwell sisters may not be back, but we might see a prequel version of the series with a Charmed reboot.

Even as The CW becomes a conglomerate of TV superheroes, you didn’t think the young-skewing network would let vampires go, did you? With The Vampire Diaries on its way out, and The Originals approaching a middle, The CW has in mind to reboot vampire classic The Lost Boys with a surprisingly ambitious generational twist.

CBS moving Supergirl to The CW creates some interesting logistical questions for the series, now included in The CW’s upcoming Netflix deal, but it seems the DC drama will at least make itself at home on the new network before Season 2. Labs team supporting Barry (Grant Gustin) the latest look at the CW's scarlet speedster series is all about the man himself.

To try to gain a little early traction, Fox and the CW are streaming free full-length pilot episodes of a few freshman shows ahead of premiere week.
