On his new album, ‘Duets II,’ legendary crooner Tony Bennett works with scores of talented artists — but perhaps none as wildly popular as Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga. Teaming up for a jazzy rendition of ‘The Lady Is a Tramp,’ Gaga gets the rare opportunity to show that she’s no studio creation — the chick can actually sing.

We often refer to senior citizens as being in their ‘golden years,’ but Tony Bennett is taking it to a whole new level. In fact, before long, he could be in his platinum years. At the age of 87, the veteran singer is still reaching new levels of success, breaking a pair of Billboard records with the first single from his ‘Duets II’ album.

The last known studio recording Amy Winehouse did before her untimely death in July was a duet with Tony Bennett called ‘Body and Soul,’ which will be on his upcoming album ‘Duets II,’ dropping September 20. The song was recorded in March at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London, and Bennett has pledged that proceeds from the single’s sales will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

For his upcoming ‘Duets II’ project, Tony Bennett made sure to line up plenty of stars from the rock and pop world, including John Mayer, Lady Gaga, and Amy Winehouse — but he invited a few friends from the country charts, too.
