Gusty winds will continue tonight for the Livingston area to Big Timber. We are also expecting some rain and snow through Monday morning so visibility may be greatly reduced at times.
This week is turning out to be the epitome of winter in Montana with lots of snow, wind and advisories galore. DANGEROUS winds are possible through Thursday especially in the higher elevations.
Another round of snow and wind is headed for Gallatin and Madison counties. Tuesday morning could be snowy but more concerning is possible gusty winds shifty the snow that has ALREADY fallen.
The Bozeman area is under a weather double whammy Monday with snow in the forecast along with possible high winds. Travel could be extremely dangerous at times on Monday through Tuesday morning.
Traveling in Montana this holiday week could be treacherous through mountain passes with very heavy snow. Being prepared is the key and knowing when NOT to be on the roads can help everyone have a safe couple of days.
