Taylor Swift has some big news — but unlike, say, her dating life, she’s being pretty quiet about it.

The country pop cutie hinted on her Facebook page that something huge is on the way for her fans. “Oh hey! I’m writing you from Nashville, where I just sat in a big room with a lot of people and made a lot of decisions about a lot of things happening very soon,” Swift wrote. “And as vague as that sentence was, I think you know what it means. Stuff is about to happen. And I love you more than ever.”

Fans will probably guess that the news is related to her upcoming album. Why else would she be in a big room in Nashville?

So far, details of Swift’s 2012 followup to 2010′s huge ‘Speak Now’ are scant, but we do know that it will feature a lot of sad songs.

“They’re sad. If I’m being honest,” Swift said, adding that one track in particular “is about moving on.” In her interview with Vogue, Swift admitted, “There’s just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak, and that will turn out to be what the next album is about. The only way that I can feel better about myself — pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone — is writing songs about it to get some sort of clarity.”

The good news? Being solo in her personal life may have inspired Swift to be part of a team more often in her professional one, collaborating with everyone from B.o.B to Foster the People. “I’ve had two co-writes, and I’ve written the rest of it by myself,” Swift said about her upcoming record. “Co-writing is so much fun when you have time to schedule it in, but for me, usually songs hit me in the middle of the night and I end up writing it before dawn, so there’s no time to call somebody. When there is time and you can get in a room and talk it out and work it out with somebody, it’s like the coolest form of therapy.”

Maybe part of her big news is about a duet!
