The Band Guy’s Girlfriend…

I never thought I would say "I'm with the Band", but life has a funny way of laughing at you right in the face!  My boyfriend Ross is the bass player for a local band called Electric Ranch.  I love these guys, and have a ton of fun listening to them play music.  But what's it really like to be the "Band Guy's Girlfriend"...

First and foremost it is a ton of fun!  I get the privileged of being around music all day long every day, so this is right up my alley.  The positive points...it gives you a reason to buy a new outfit each time they play, you never pay a cover charge, you can put your purse on the stage and don't have to carry it around all night,  it's fun to watch the person you care about having such a great time doing something he digs and it's a great way to get all your friends together in one place!

The downfall..it makes for a VERY late night.  I think we usually get to the bar around 6 and leave around 3am.  That leaves A LOT of time to drink and socialize, which makes for a very painful morning :).  3am is only an hour and half before the time I usually wake up, needless to say I am always very sleepy by the end!

So that's it?   Is it what you expected?  I would hate to see his take on "the radio girls boyfriend".
