The NFL Draft is coming up fast, and this event could be massive for Montana State Bobcat fans and players.

After a historic 2021 season for the Montana State football team, making it to the National Championship game, we could see been more history coming up at the end of April. Not only could we see multiple Bobcats drafted by NFL teams, but we could see the highest draft pick for a Montana State player.

If you don't know Montana State held their Pro Day for former Bobcat players on Monday, April 4th, and there are some high hopes for many of these players. One of these players is Troy Andersen. Troy Andersen has been gaining momentum over the past few months with a great showing at the NFL Combine and the Senior Bowl and has gotten praise from many NFL Drafts. Many expect Troy Andersen to be either a Round 2 or 3 draft pick, and that would be the highest a Montana State player has ever been drafted.

We could also see other Montana State Bobcat players drafted in the later rounds as well. Daniel Hardy, Lance McCutcheon, and Lews Kidd all have the possibility of being late-day-three draft picks or possible undrafted free agents. That's exciting for not only Montana State fans but future players too.

Even though Montana State is at the FCS level for football, these players get the chance to play in the NFL and make the roster will help future Bobcats get noticed. Montana State plyers are constantly overlooked.

The future is bright and exciting for Montana State football. We will all be watching at the end of April to see where all of our Bobcats land.
